Vibe Village was founded by Matt Maijah and made its debut on February 13th 2019 to a sell out crowd at the Ace Hotel in Shoreditch. Since then, the collective has packed out prestigious London venues (including the legendary Jazz Café Camden) and performed alongside some of the biggest icons in music all over the world.

Matt’s roots run deep: he began singing at 12, and carved out an impressive gospel career before turning 18—supporting the likes of Kirk Franklin, Tye Tribbett, Mary Mary, Donny McClurkin, and more. As a solo artist, he hit No. 1 on the UK Gospel Chart in 2014. From there, Matt moved effortlessly into the mainstream, touring and recording with Gorillaz, Stormzy, Wizkid, Dua Lipa, Elton John, George Benson, Take That, Craig David, Justin Timberlake, De La Soul, and Gregory Porter, among others.

But Vibe Village isn’t just Matt’s story. His reputation for excellence, authenticity, and musical mastery drew in his two closest friends—industry heavyweights Teni Tinks and Stefan Richy. Teni, revered as one of the UK’s leading female vocalists, has performed with the likes of Usher, Tyla, Christina Aguilera, Wizkid, and Stormzy whilst Stefan has performed with Coldplay, Rita Ora and many others to add to the ever growing list of team credits.
